Battlegrounds: King of the Court, 2005

Hosted by NBA 2-year veteran LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, this is the third installment of the Battleground series. This season, teams, instead of individuals, from two big cities in the U.S. play against each other to project which city produced the best team in the country. Illinois native Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers assembles the team from Chicago and New York native Ben Gordon of the Chicago Bulls assembles the team from New York.

The documentary is a 6 part series (7 avi parts here though, 230MB or so each).

This is a cool series of Nike commercials shown in Korea with NBA star playing on their childhood playground and telling what their game is made of.

Battlegrounds 2003 (Parker, Diaw, Turiaf, Slam Nation)

Some old stuff as you can see. It's the 2003 Nike Battlegrounds in Paris hosted by Tony Parker. I was there with my big old camcorder, lol, and did a video recap of all I taped that I put on Bangbang.tk.
You can download it again now and watch also 2 videos I didn't upload at the time for lack of space.

The videos aren't edited so there are many garbage plays or missed dunks. Some of you might find them pointless other might like them, who knows :p

The first video is a Slam Nation show with Kadour Ziani, Serge Moularé, Steve Lobel, Salomon Sami and others.

The second video is a friendly "pick-up" game with Tony Parker, Boris Diaw (and his brother) and Ronnie Turiaf (with the afro). And yes, the rim on the right is a bit lower than usual.

This is a Nike commercial with Italian NBA players Marco and Andrea shooting on a playground.

Is it me or this looks like a fake? I mean look at his position on the court, he should be shooting 2 meters left to the basket in this direction. Also, I'm not sure Bargnani has a promissing career in acting, lol.
Here's what they're saying:
Hey Beli, you're the man here in Bologna but I doubt you'll last long in the NBA. You're a nobody in the US, you'll have to bring donuts to your teamates an take out their laundry. And everybody here know you can't defend, how could you guard someone like Kobe? Hey Beli, the most important thing is you need to learn to listen! (slap)

Nike "Laced" Documentary

Nike Asia made a documentary few months ago celebrating 30 years of Nike Basketball history. For this film feature, familiar faces in the basketball and sneaker cultures such as Pee Wee Kirkland, Benny Gold, Dave Ortiz of DQM, and Bobbito Garcia were interviewed to talk about the different aspects of basketball and sneaker communities. The film goes in depth with streetball, sneaker art, fashion, and more.
I first found this a while ago on youtube divided in seven 5 min long episodes, it's only recently that I thought of packing them into a 35 min vid. Converted to mp4 the video is now 222MB.
I don't know if you can find this anywhere else so for the moment I'd like to call it a bballvideos exclusive, hehe. I hope you sneaker nuts will enjoy it :)
